YETI cooler

We need your help reviewing and evaluating HFSC’s new online Home Fire Sprinkler Community Impact Tool. Funded through a FEMA Fire Prevention & Safety grant, HFSC developed this new tool to help AHJs and fire officials inform decision-makers about home fire sprinklers–why sprinklers are included in national codes and the cost to communities when new homes are built without fire sprinklers. The tool helps officials combine national and local data to summarize a comprehensive view of the true cost of fire along with actionable insights for presentations.

Once you complete the evaluation, you will be entered into a random drawing to receive a Yeti Roadie Cooler. (Follow the steps below.)

There are three (3) steps to complete the evaluation:

Step 1: Download the Question List

This will help you collect local data that can be entered into the Impact Tool. Local data includes fatalities, injuries, property loss, displacement and other information. You do not need to answer all the questions.

Step 2: Go to the Impact Tool

Click on the orange box “Home Fire Sprinkler Impact Tool,” then read all directions and register. The Community Impact Tool automatically creates a PowerPoint presentation. As you enter your local data you can choose which slides to include and which to exclude.

Step 3: Complete the Evaluation

The YETI Roadie Cooler is perfect for chilling up to 33 cans (or 26 lbs ice). Your participation will greatly contribute to enhancing fire safety practices in communities nationwide.

A $250 value. Ten (10) winners will be selected at random.

Rules & Regulations:

  • Only members of the US fire service may participate.
  • Completed evaluations must be submitted to enter.
