Resources are available for media interviews by contacting Peg Paul by phone (815) 464-8001, or e-mail.
The resource list includes fire chiefs, people who experienced house fires with and without sprinklers and HFSC spokespeople. Photos and illustrations are also available to the media including a living room before a fire, the living room after a home fire sprinkler extinguished a fire, and the same living room after a fire without a home fire sprinkler. B-roll is available to TV media including a living room fire, a fire sprinkler activating and extinguishing a fire and various interviews.
The Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition encourages the use of its materials by individuals, organizations and local public education campaigns that are aligned with the HFSC mission. HFSC does allow fire departments to add their logos to HFSC educational material. All HFSC materials must be used in their complete and original form unless alterations are specifically approved by HFSC. HFSC reserves the right to require the discontinued use of any of its information or materials if HFSC determines it has been used in a manner that is inappropriate or contrary to the HFSC mission.
