Modern furnishings, open floorplans and unprotected lightweight wood construction make home fires deadly in two minutes or less. That is not a lot of time to escape, especially if you have young children, older adults, people with disabilities, even pets in the home. Home fire sprinklers reduce injuries, death and property loss. That’s why all national building codes require fire sprinklers in all new construction.
