Randy Miller, Deputy Fire Marshal, Camas-Washougal (WA) Fire Marshal’s Office, will talk about the incentives that were offered to developers in his community and how he worked with many stakeholders to protect more than 2,000 homes with sprinklers. Peg Paul, HFSC Communications Manager, will discuss HFSC’s new national program to encourage AHJs to educate about sprinkler incentives and share information about free resources. The presentation will also address the role of home fire sprinklers related to firefighter health and safety and provide information to help fire departments merge sprinkler education into community risk reduction strategies.
